Jason and Karolina had the most stunning fall wedding at the La Bella Vista in Waterbury, CT. This couple has the sweetest love story. They met through dance over 10 years ago! Since then, they have grown up and built a life together. The friends they have surrounded themselves with love this couple immensely, and that couldn't have been any more clear on their wedding day.
Karolina spent the morning popping champagne and excitedly getting ready for the day with her bridal party. She had the two most influential women in her life, her Mother and Grandmother, help her to get into her stunning ballgown. Before having an emotional first look with her bridal party, Karolina read a hand written note from Jason.
The couple had the sweetest first look on the gazebo surrounded by fall foliage. After taking a moment to themselves, they began the wedding festivities and joined their wedding party for portraits.
Jason and Karolina had a traditional Jewish wedding surrounded by their family and friends. They couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful October day! I loved that their immediate family members got to stand at the alter with the couple, being an intimate and integral part of the ceremony.
My absolute favorite memory of this day was after the ceremony, when their massive wedding party crowded around the couple cheering, singing, and congratulating them. There was so much love and happiness all in one place. I know they will all cherish that moment forever.
After the ceremony, the celebration began! Jason and Karolina met each other through dance and are both professionally trained ballroom dancers, so I knew their first dance was going to be something special. Because of their dance origins, the majority of their guest were phenomenal dancers as well! There was so much talent in one room. The reception was a blend of culture as well, Karolina’s Lithuan family meshed with Jason’s Ukrainian family. It was such special experience to capture such a variety is of celebratory traditions.
The night concluded with the most elaborate desert table I have ever seen! Everything about Jason and Karolina's day was magical. It was such a privilege to document this magnificent celebration.
